Movin' and Groovin'

I'm enjoying watching Biggest Loser...puppy at my feet...what a sweetie. I completed C25K W3D2 today. Yay! Running is still hard but I can tell it's getting easier. On Saturday, when I did my runs, I felt so winded. Today, I was winded but it felt like an 8 on the challenge scale instead of a 10. That's encouraging. I really want to be a runner...what a great exercise...that you can do anywhere...no equipment...great cardio...great fun alone or in a group.

I'm at 7300 steps for today. I consider that a victory...considering I sit at a sedentary job for 8 hours a day M-F. To have hit 3/4 of my goal on a "forced sedentary" day is really a win. I did manage my 10 flights of stairs. My water consumption is way up for today too. One thing I have noticed...a mental change. When I "have" to move to do something...go downstairs to get clothes out of the dryer...let the dog out...walk around the office...I'm thinking, "Yay, I can get some steps in"...instead of, "ugh, I have go..." Thanks, Fitbit!

DD continues to send me adorable pics of the new granddaughter. I can't wait to hold her! I have most of my stuff packed. What I can't pack because I am still using it, I have on a list so I don't have to worry about it. I packed workout clothes! I don't imagine I will be too sedentary on this trip. Yay! Hope my Fitbit can handle it!
