And it was a busy weekend! I was bone tried each night of the weekend..even though I didn't any heavy work. We had a crew (3 person) in on Sat (for 10 hrs) and Sunday (for 6 hrs). We got all the landscaping in the front yard torn up and taken away, did a bunch of trench work (water/electrical) for the trailer when it's parked on the street. And the RV parking was all leveled out, covered with 6 in of type two rock, sprayed down and is now as hard as concert. All 50-60 some odd feet of it! Here's a few pics:
Before landscaping came out (you can only see half of the yard):
The RV parking now and no landscaping:
We still have some work to do..but this was a huge start!
Sunday, while all this was going on, I did a total house clean up. Not that it's ever bad...but the computer room really need a clean out
. And I got the guest bedroom all ready for the kids to come at the end of the month.
With everything going on, my eating was all over the place this weekend. Hubby had to go get blood work done (for his upcoming surgery), so he hauled my butt out of bed at 5 AM on Sunday morning to go with him. It was OK...I got not only a Starbucks, but breakfast out of it.
. I'm LOVING the new Hazelnut Macchiato from Starbucks. I get it Skinny, which means only 130 or so calories for a Grande (16 oz).
Eating today has been good, so far. I forgot my breakfast sandwich at home this morning, but a co-worker brought some waffles that had chocolate drizzle on them. I only had 1/4 of a whole one so that was my breakfast today. Lunch was the same as always, as was my two snacks. My workout was a bit of a disappointment though, I got stuck talking to someone in the locker room and so got a late start. I was only able to do 50 mins on the treadmill today. This week will be all treadmill. So I didn't burn as many calories as I would have.
I think dinner tonight is going to be Mushroom burgers over rice. Hubby likes those.
A few odds and ends...I had to order a new power cord/charger for my tablet, It stopped charging last night. So I had to use my phone when I worked out today.
Plus I need to figure out where I'm getting the $$ for my Ancestry.com membership in May. I have the International one and it's twice what the domestic one is.
We had our taxes done on Thursday. Surprise!! We're getting some back! Hubby is giving it to me to replace what he "borrowed" from the money for my property taxes on the condo. I guess it's a payback of sorts. Anyway...I'll be getting it and using it to pay the prop taxes on the condo. He had to borrowed some money over the weekend from me for the yard work (he didn't have costs in writing, so there were a few surprise costs), so he's giving me that back too.
So that's it for this Monday. I hope yours went swell!
