Day 6 of 10 min/day

Monday, March 11, 2013

Another elliptical day, I did 20 minutes at a slightly faster pace than yesterday. I didn't feel my tendons, either, so that's good. It looks like an elliptical week with the new snow we have now. I'm glad we didn't travel yesterday. The news had lots of interstate accidents, one involving 6 semis.

Today will be a good food day. I'm Catholic and try to follow the traditional fast as best I can. Since I have blood sugar issues, I add healthy snacks to it as well. It's supposed to be two small meatless meals and one regular meal. I stick to that, my necessary snacks to keep me going, and eat healthy. This is Monday through Saturday. Lent really should be a time for me to get my eating in check, but I was so sick for the first half of it. I'm now well enough to stick to my plan.

Have a great week everyone!

Sounds like a balanced plan. Whatever the modifications, fasting has spiritual benefits. Hope you will keep sharing your observations!

Our choir director became more or less vegetarian last year, but still keeps it fairly low carb. His health and weight are much better. He keeps the fast (we're Ukrainian Orthodox, so it's something like 46 days straight of no dairy or meat) though I don't keep the fast myself.

Good going - hope your tendons continue to heal!
