emoticon Howdy my sparkling spark~sters. I have to say...you make my spark world turn brightly.

I'm still chuckling over one of my friends comments on my last customer service skills blog. It could be AKA "How to spit bullets...but nicely"...you get the point. I have NO patience with fools but they aren't going to give up their territory willingly so you deal.

In the meantime when not jumping from craggy cliff to cliff...or in FL sand dune to sand dune in an effort to run a small business with grace AND profit I'm still studying my brains out on how to preserve my sanity and my health.

It's something we ALL do...or at least most of us that really want health and not just fake promises from pretty packages, snazzy commercials and quick and convenient 'glop' foods.

Every scientist that is worth the diploma hanging on his wall will admit to you that cancer is in processed foods. In fact if he is really ready to go out on a limb he'll tell you that the great american diet is a test tube for cancer development. We just can not process the chemicals, the toxins, the evil wizard test tube experiments used to trick our brain and befuddle our body with the cesspool of stuff they sneak into our food supply.

It isn't food... my peeps...that's why so many of us are lethargic, depressed, irritable, some downright angry leading to much more craziness. Ever think of these young adults that go ballistic and start shooting people. Ever examined their diets of months and months of the crap they throw down their gullet. Or the pills that they have been handed to make them and their problems 'just go away'....we might get a shock if we only knew more about their nutritional (or lack thereof) backgrounds.

Should you have a nutritionist examine your favorite food list before you are given permission to buy a gun...probably. emoticon It's really THIS serious our food stupidity.

BUT...you can take hold of this! Remember food is medicine...not that I've EVER had a friend with Cancer tell me that doctors told them to eat certain foods and stay away from certain foods. In fact...quite the opposite...one friend told me that her doctor told her to stay with a soft diet...literally soft foods are cancer feeders! Sugar being the #1 driver. emoticon

Remember no doctor is going to buck the powerful AMA they could get disbarred for recommending ANY method that doesn't have a patent thereby a profit to the system they are entrenched in. Not all doctors are evil and don't want to help you...but they aren't going to risk being kicked out of the system that they have paid blood, sweat and tears to become a part of. They just aren't! Know that.

I don't want to be the harbinger of downer blogs...but I'm telling you what I'm learning. It's stuff that is coming more and more to the light. It's taking us...John Q. Public quit the time to say...hey...wait a minute why have they been on the hunt for the CURE for Cancer for absolutely DECADES now with not much progress...it's called profit my friends...even WE can chew that over and determine the reasons...can't we...can't WE? emoticon Of course we can...but not when we are sick and depressed and in the middle of a health crisis...then is NOT the time.

Here's your next grocery list, these are all anti cancer or immune boosting health promoting foods. Of course you ARE going to have to learn to cook. Do it for you...do it for those who love you..like ME for instance! emoticon

Get organic when you can...if you can't wash well with an anti pesticide wash or lemon water.

Okay so there you have it...all alphabetized pretty and such just for you! If you can't find something you like to eat out of that LONG list then you need to be dropped off at a local Amish community for 3 months until you refine your taste buds. When you get hungry enough there you WILL eat and learn to love healthy!

Just sayin~ don't kill the messenger...I'm doing this as much for me...as I'm doing it for you...but if I take the time to learn this stuff and you are my friend...you are going to know about it too.

Oh and one more IMPORTANT nugget of nutritional wisdom...try to keep your diet as alkaline as possible...disease loves acidity...health loves the alkaline PH. You can always find out what foods are alkaline or acidic by googling them, or make yourself a chart...no I can't do EVERYTHING for you...do it...do it for YOU! emoticon

    I knew that processed foods all contain chemicals that all lethal to our bodies and your article brings this to attention. I'm happy you blogged it.
I believe there is a debate going on whether organic is necessarily any better so why spend the extra expense. I absolutely agree with wash well with an anti pesticide wash or lemon water.
I also read that cantaloupe or sugar melon is one of the dirty fruits because of the skin with its holes or pock marks that when cutting it drags the chemicals through the melon. I would guess that you could wash the knife every time you cut through it.
The water and especially air are also great pollutants.
I'm still going to live happily ever after for as long as I can. I can't control everything.

    emoticon blog! emoticon so much for taking the time to share with us what you are learning! I love the list and there isn't much on there that I will not eat. I have to stay away from citrus though because it interacts with one of my med's and gives me an extreme amount of gas. If you can get soybean that is not a GMO and in small amounts here and there I think is okay. Of course, if you have hypothyroidism there are some things like soybeans, seaweed and kelp that definitely have to be eaten only a little at a time and definitely not first thing in the morning. Also, wheat for hypothyroidism isn't good either. emoticon

    Great blog Bobbi!!!! Thanks for taking the time to encourage us all and post all this awesome information!!. I agree cancer is big business!!! Love the list, eat most of what's on it in our regular diet daily. I know cancer thrives in an acidic environment and I tend to be more acidic so I'm going to research the PH balance thing. My Dr. wonderful natural, Dr. in Germany said to eat lots of cabbage type vegetables, broccoli, kale, cabbage ,any thing in that family, to ward off cancer. Thanks for sharing all your research with us!!!!

    That's a great list! I'm looking for my legumes and lentils, unless your beans are both green and the dry pea/bean variety. I love my chickpeas, kidney beans, split peas, and moong dry beans in nearly every color of the rainbow. What's the scoop with these gems?

oh boy are you so funny.

Happy to say that I do eat majority of the list...but I wouldn't touch fish oil one bit. Besides the fact that I hate Yogurt, I think that all dairy is just as bad as processed food. (I know i know giving up cheese has been hard for me )

Grapeseed Oil and Olive Oil (any oil ) aren't as healthy as everyone is lead to believe and is just another processed "food".

I have never liked Coffee (lucky me)

There are just a couple of fruit and veggies on your list that I have never tried or heard of.

oh yea one more thing is that I'm still getting used to eating beans.

(been studding too...lol)

    It would be a very different world if we didn't have refined foods in our diet. Obesity and cancer would be almost unheard of. So would headaches!
