Lately I've been getting into stairs.
I climb the 6 flights to my floor every workday morning.
I make it a point to get off the elevator one floor early and walk up to my floor the rest of the day. I also sneak in as many extra flights as possible during the day.
If it's raining out, I walk the mall next door to my building at lunch, walking up and down all the access stairs and escalators I can find.
On the weekend, I look for hills and stairs instead of avoiding them. This weekend I found some new stairs up from the beach. Last weekend I climbed the Wreck Beach stairs:
My faithful FitBit records all. Best day so far was 67 floors!
Feels very strange to be seeking out stairs and hills instead of avoiding them.
