This AM our trainer was showing us pull ups in the band. No biggie, we have been doing this for months. Today it was the way she was explaining it that made things click. "If you can't do them competitive style, then pull yourself up hold and release." Wait a minute...I have been doing them negative for a few weeks trying to build up some more strength. Time to try it competitive style and see what happens.
Banged out 40 with the band, unbroken. Then I did 6 negative. I was quite pleased. If she had not said, "competitive style" I am 100% sure I would have done them the way I always had. Love what a little play on words will do:)
