Still Sick :(

I took a 4 day weekend in order to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I've been sick the entire time. Not only am I personally not thrilled with being sick, I'm feeling guilty for making a mess of hubby's birthday.
And worse, I hardly ever get sick for this long ... it's just our luck, I suppose.

Another issue I take with this sickness is that it's slowing my progress at the gym. Well, let's be honest ... my "progress" was debatable - but at least I had been getting out there and trying.

I did, however, make it to an appointment I had at the gym with a trainer, Shane. He is a fit guy, in his twenties, a little cockier than I would like, BUT at least he provided me with a full body workout that I think will help me in the long run. I'm willing to give it a try anyway. PLUS! I jogged today! For 5 minutes. It doesn't sound impressive ... but to me, this is a helluva feat! I'm excited to jump on the treadmill and see what else I can do when I push myself...

Well, here's to hopefully feeling better tomorrow!

    So sorry the cold is getting the better of you. But happy birthday to your hubby, at least you guys still celebrated. I'm sure he did not think you made a mess of his special day.

And that's wonderful you spoke to a trainer and got some workout guidelines!!! I'd say you're making awesome progress!

Get totally well soon so you can get back to your workouts fully energized and strong.
