Sunday was a good day . I ate within calories, drank my water, and got in my cardio. I didn’t realize how ready I was for spring until today. IT was 60 degrees and nice today. I was able to get in a 35 minutes walk with my youngest son. I am so ready for nice weather!!
So I was listening to SparkRadio and heard an older episode. They were interviewing a SP member who’s motivational moment was when she couldn’t help her child learn to ride a bike. I can relate to that and I’m working to fix it.
I have been walking on my treadmill at a 9.0 incline to get in shape. I think I’m ready to start a running program. I thought I was going to use the Couch to 5K program but when I searched Spark Teams I see that there’s also a SparkPeople 5k Your Way Rookie program.
I don’t have a smart phone and I’ll be training on a treadmill. I want to be able to run a 5k by the spring so I can be ready to help my son learn to ride a bike (when he’s ready).
So what’s the difference? Which one is better?
Any information you can provide would be appreciated.
