I've faithfully been logging good and bad for the last 6 weeks and the weight is SLOWLY coming off. Since the weather is getting nicer and Daylight Savings Time kicked in, I'm hoping that perhaps it'll drop off a tad faster. But the important thing is the change in my mindset.
Today I made a loaf of homemade bread and only took 1 bite. I picked it up and smelled it 3 times which was so delightfully aromatic. But, I didn't have to eat it. What a great feeling that I was actually in control enought not to succumb to wolfing down several pieces laden with butter and jam. Now that's progress.
