The wonderful world of time change

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Every year we "spring" ahead and then try to adjust our eating and
sleeping patterns to match the clock. We went to bed earlier last
night so this morning, it wasn't too bad. DH got up way earlier than
usual and it seemed we had all this extra time before church.
We went for coffee and had a nice visit with the family. I tried to
space off lunch so we could into the new groove. DH was wiped
out and took a 2 hour nap. I scrounged out some leftovers and we
had a nice little supper.
I must have been psychic because I was already planning what to
make DS for lunch this week when he called to see if I could have
something ready. He picked white goulash and I had everything on
hand. It was ready just at the time I promised to take it over to his
house. I had bought a fresh cucumber for him and took that over
as well, peeled and sliced for a fresh veggie. He had a huge smile
on his face as he put it in the refrigerator.
I took a short walk after that. The weather is brisk and cold. The
mud from yesterday is frozen today so doing chores this noon
was easier. The only gummy place was in the chicken barn and
that was a little stiffer that yesterday so my shoes didn't get as
soaked. Thank goodness for old shoes I am too tight to throw away.
I can save my clean ones for tomorrow.
It almost feels like bedtime but I will put it off so I can get in sync
with the new time. Hope you had a great Sunday and thanks for
stopping by. HUGS!

I love more time in the evenings but HATE the days that change it to and from daylight savings time! Ugh!
Have a GREAT week, Marsha!

I did pretty well with the time-change and I don't think anybody was late for church. It was fun for me to take a ride with a friend of mine later in the afternoon and realize that we survived another Dark Season and spring isn't too far away!!

I hate this new time. Wish "they" would quite messing with my life. If people want to golf or whatever they have to do--they should take vacation and go do it.

The time change messes us all up. We also held lunch to try to get in sync. Not too much trouble. I was up at my regular 3:30 this morning so I guess I am okay. Have a great week,
