Different ways

Friday and Saturday we loaded wood. Friday we unloaded it and split it so it was lighter. Hard wet wood. Our splitter is rated at 2700 ft lbs,and it was too much for it in one press, on about half of fridays. We went back Saturday to help the man out. We have lots of soft wood to burn cut and split. More to cut and split that's down.
Wood warms more than once.
I do not go to the gym or 5k but I am not stagnate
We get our exercise differently. I am chopping nuts for oatmeal good shoulder work then making stew in a big cast iron skillet. Hang laundry it is better on the cloths and I stretch to hang them

    Who ever needed to lift weights when they were building stone walls and chopping wood all day?

    Who needed to go running when they walked miles into town daily?

    I honestly feel more satisfied when my workouts include something purposeful.

    Doing wood is workout!! We have an outside furnace and spend a lot of weekends doing wood in the fall to prepare for winter. It's a task unloading and stacking! emoticon
