Training for my first spartan race with Asylum 1- week 1 review

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Today I finished my first week of to be honest and say that I sure dread the workouts but I'm commited and I will finish the program, little progress here and there, like and extra push up or an extra set, that's what keep me going, and the fact that I lost 1.4 lbs as of yesterday (Saturdays are my weight in days), also I went for a run Saturday morning, 2.8 miles in 31 minutes and I think is not bad for a person who never runs and today I went for a nice 30 minutes walk while the clothes were washing in the laundromat....LOL (got to multitask right? ).

The hardest workout I'm still undecided between speed and agility or vertical plyo they are so hard and he is just not easy to keep up with but I think I"ll manage, as long as I can I won't quit, just take a breathe and keep going.

Let's see what week 2 awaits for me...for sure I will try to improve my running times. and I will keep telling to my self : " it's only 30 days and you'll conquer the race"
