The Shred--Week 1--Down 6 Pounds

The biggest difference for me is eating throughout the day. It seems like following the plan, my calories and fats/carb/protein are within the Spark guidelines when I enter my foods in the tracker.

This week I generally switched Meal 3 and Meal 2. I can justify eating a salad at my desk at around 11:30, and a cup of soup works at 3:30 because people think it is coffee. Speaking of coffee, this has cut me down and I started drinking more tea. I always liked tea, but only drank it when ill.

I had trouble finding juice not from concentrate. I never knew there was a difference.

I have trouble with the listed times to eat. I get up about 5, so am really ready for breakfast about 7:00 AM. Also as soon as I get home around 5 PM, I want dinner. It is a good thing I can eat at my desk, for a lot of people the meal times would not work. I adjusted the time a little, but made sure I eat every 3-4 hours.

Week 2 Goals:
I have already written down what each meal is suppose to be. Now I just need to assign the particular food.

I am going to try and not switch meals around. I read the book again today and in later weeks, it seems to get stricter.

I really wish Dr. Smith's web site had more information/helpful hints because I do not use Facebook.

Since I had such a large weight loss this week, I do not expect to be down much more than a pound next week. I will do the best I can and see what happens.
