Ok, I did it for 9 days and then.... well... I suck at remembering pills. I couldn't quite remember the morning pill, had to take when I got to work and am crazy busy first thing. The afternoon one was next to impossible to remember, can't eat 30 min before or after taking the darn thing so I was doomed to forget. Bedtime was okay but working late made those tricky cause you need to wait 3 hours after eating so I'd essentially have to wake up at midnight to take them.
If it wasn't for the whole waiting between food and the pills I could have done the program. I still have 3 weeks left of pills so maybe I can try again another time.
I have to admit I did feel better while on them. As if I had more focus and energy. But that could be from the fact spring is almost here and the extra daylight is having an effect.
Since pills are not my forte I will focus on the diet. Cutting wheat but if something came in contact with it, I'll eat it. Just skipping the obvious stuff. Leaning towards a Paleo diet, seems pretty doable.
Have already lost 4lbs in less than 2 weeks and my tummy has been quite flat. Not craving carbs as much as I thought I would. Too bad Paleo pushes meat, cause I am not a big meat fan.
Let's see how it goes, at least with this plan, my hubby is joining me so I'll have someone to suffer with.
Did a test on the wheat reaction. Hadn't eaten any for over a week and decided to have a tortilla wrap. Ugh..... I bloated so bad in less than an hour and the gas later in the day was toxic. The cat left the room at one point.
Guess that means wheat and I are not meant to be. Good test cause now I know what will happen should I decide to have a carb treat (which I am sure I will).
Gosh, look at the time. Best get to my workout before it gets too late and I start making excuses not to run.
