I'm on day 3 of my mystery plan. Exercise is going slowly; I still am having a hard time rekindling my motivation. However, we went for a family walk yesterday! It was so encouraging to be with my family doing something physical. We went far, far slower than I wanted to go (averaged about 2.2 mph). I prefer to hit 3-3.5 most of the time. Anyway, it was well worth it with the family!
I'm eating a lot better. Though I'm not following the plan perfectly (we're between paychecks, and a trip to the grocery store is out) I'm following the swaps carefully, and making some yummy changes. I've eaten more veggies than I have in a long time. :)
It feels good to have a plan; I think that may have been what I've been missing. I know the routine, I know what to do, but planning to do it is a whole different animal, you know? By thinking ahead (and being limited to what's in the pantry) I'm having to make smart swaps and careful choices based on what I have.
