Well yesterday didn't go so good!

Sunday, March 10, 2013

So I did really good tracking my calorie intake the first two days but yesterday I blew that out of the water. I went over my limit but 400. But I'm going to do better today.

On the other hand, I have been doing great on one of my other goals. See I have a really hard time sleeping, so I set a goal to get 6 hours of sleep a night. I have been getting at least 6 lately. Besides the night I was sick, but that doesn't count. emoticon Last night I got at a full 8 hours of sleep of course the cold medicine could have something to do with that. I am still going to count it tho.

This is a process. You will have great days and not so great days. The important thing is the big picture and your overall health. The key is to be organized, aware and focused- not perfect.
You're doing great. Check out some of the inspirational blogs and learn from the experiences of others.
Glad you're feeling better.

I love the picture! Now that's MY kind of aromatherapy!! LOL!
Don't worry about one day...it doesn't make or break you. Tracking is essential and you are doing great! Making changes slowly is the surest way to have them stick. Try to do too much and you will be overwhelmed. Working on sleep is an important step toward health! (sleep is a huge problem for me also!)

I agree 100% with what was said below. I think it's way more important to get everything logged/tracked than to worry about going over, especially in the beginning. A week or two of steady tracking can give you a lot of insight into what your trigger foods are and what items can be cut or substituted with healthier options down the road.

Haha, that picture is so cute. Hey, don't get down on yourself, you're only a few days into it, and during the Fastbreak step, the point of tracking what you eat is really just to get into the habit of it, and to pay attention to your patterns. Yesterday you learned something about yourself, and you build on that to make it to the next step. You can do this!
