A chilly start!

Seems that today would be cold and I have to workout inside!You know what?Since I have started tracking my food and exercise on spark people,I have been more faithful to my new regimen more.It has been three weeks that I haven't fallen off the wagon ,and felt good about myself.I have lost about 8 pounds but already fee better in my clothes.Now I am amost a size 6/My pants feel comfier and my dresses show less of that tummy bulge!I am starting to feel -for the first time- that this is the eating style I need to follow for ever and not feel deprived.
This afternoon I am going for a birthday party and et me tel you,I won't have any of those snacks that give you nothing but refined sugar and saturated fat!I will have a bit of the cake-no icing-and that's it!
I think now that i first check the ingredients before I put something in my mouth I crave junk food less!I was looking at the fashion icon,Carolina Herrera's pictures yesterday. At 74,she looks gorgeous!One might say,well with all the money and fame,no wonder.However, I have another hypothesis:As long as one loves her life and cherishes her awesome body,she wouldn't allow any harm to be threatening this amazing gift of nature.
After seeing her pictures I made a vow to look my best at any age,I think prayer comes in many form and one form is appreciating our bodies and taking good care of them. emoticon
