I am a very thrifty individual. It drives my kids nuts when I collect condiments from restaurants to use later in meals. On saturday I went to chick fila and had a sandwich and a medium waffle fry after going to zumba class. I had the kiddos with me and they were hungry. What used to be delicious made me feel so lethargic and bloated after eating it. Not a good feeling plus it took my calories all the way to the end for the day. This was bad news because we were going to the carnival this evening and there would be lots of yummies. Being very thrifty my husband annd I allowed the kiddos to ride many rides but we did not spend any money on expensive carnival food and I was able to stay in my calorie range for the day! A real miracle for me on the weekend where I usually throw caution to the wind. They went through a 99 cent drive through and I ordered nothing and went to sleep. Wow this was tough but I felt better waking up hungry and having my healthy banana almond butter raspberries yogurt shake. So saving money can equate to saving calories. I find it is cheaper to buy produce than to buy junk food also.
I think healthy eating is becoming my new habit and I like it!
