For the past 2 weeks I was coughing on and off, day and night. I slept badly, waking up constantly to cough out sputum. I cough so much that a part of my rib cage muscles hurt whenever I try to turnaround or lift something with my right arm. It was torture. I just wasn't into exercising during that time. I put 4 pounds back on. But I finally realised that I should love my body because it let me live my life (not only when it look a certain way), and the full impact of good-quality sleep. In the past, I tend to sacrifice sleep for work and workouts, so...now I know.
I felt better today and opened my mailbox to find a 6-minute glutes n thighs workout video from Couch Nicole. I thought, why not start-over now? So I stood up and started the video on the spot. And I was glad that I did. What a good way to celebrate recovery.
