I'm Dying

For real. My legs and glutes are so sore. Also strangly whatever muscle on my side (like at the level of under my boobs on the side) are also sore. And I even used a foam roller when I was done with my workout!

I seriously laid in bed in this morning until I literally couldn't hold my bladder anymore and physically had no choice.

Ouch. He did warn me this was likely to happen. But I was still unprepared.

Anywho. In case you didn't deduce this from the beginning. I had my first actual workout with my personal trainer yesterday. We did a quick warm up and began! We blasted my legs with a series of squats and some sort of movement where I bridged and squeezed my glutes like crazy. Then I did like a bajillion lunges I am pretty sure. Then I threw the medicine ball at the ball while squating. Then I did more lunges. Then I deadlifted. Yep. That happened. Although I don't actually know how much I was lifting. It was a bar with 3 5lb weights on each side. But I enjoyed it! I worked my shoulders a bit. Then we did work two leg supersets on one of the leg machines. Then I cooled down.

I guzzled so much water last night. Then went out and danced the night away with my friends for a pals birthday.

I got a super sweet new nailpolish called Lava. It is like one of those glittery-change-colors kind of things from orange to pinkish. It is sweet.

Hope you are all doing well! I for one can't wait until spring break which is only one tiny week filled of three quizzes and two tests away!

    That's awesome! I've been super sore all week too from boot camp. Though I can barely move, it's an amazing feeling at the same time.

    Nicely done friend! Sounds like a great workout. If you have a bathtub or access to one I'd suggest buying some epson salts and take a long hot soak. If you're sore after the first day I can't image what you'll feel on day two. Love that you drank a lot of water and kept moving ... dancing is awesome fun and a great workout.

Keep up the great work and telling us all about it!

On a personal note, I'm hoping my legs aren't sore tomorrow morning. I started running again and plan to go again tomorrow morning. O_O
