Well...here we go. I am 100% committed to changing my eating lifestyle. I have a two year old daughter and can not let her live a life full of health risks, excess weight, ignorance, self-indulgence, insecurities and unhappiness. My name is Sara. I am 28 years old and am a single mom of an amazing little girl. Now, I am also a nursing student which has led me to a better understanding of my overall health.

A brief overview of my current and overall health:
I have struggle with my weight for many many years.
My BMI is well into the obesity range,
I am insulin resistant. (a precursor to diabetes)
Cortisol levels are through the roof.
Not eating a healthy diet. For the most part, I forget to eat. When I do eat it is usually a ton and not always the best choices.
I have chronic inflammation.
I had emergency surgery on 2/7/13 to remove my gallbladder.
Took the morning after pill on 2/26/13.
Confirmed: NO PREGNANCY.


All of this brings me to today. I have started the hcg diet in hopes of resetting my metabolic structure and baseline, maintaining a healthy weight and learning to have a clean diet for myself and my daughter.

I am not sure where this journey will take me but I plan on one round of hcg (30days). During this first round I am going to follow protocol, to the best of my ability. I plan on continuing walks in the evening as well as yoga at least three times a week.

    What is hcg? I hope it is part of a healthy lifestyle. It's great that you want to be a good role model for your daughter -- they never do as we SAY, just as we DO!
