This week's progress gets a B+

emoticon scale is 1/2 pound down. I could be bummed about that, but I'm not going to be. For one thing, the scale moved

and for another thing, I only did 1/2 a pound's worth of work this week.

I did a fantastic job this week with food, eating minimal processed foods (including very little sweets), lots of fruits and veg, and very low fat.

emoticon Got some social time out with friends, something I am focusing on making sure I get enough of. I ate out once this week at the new local Thai restaurant and did not go overboard but ate within range. Went to another evening out -- a Happy Hour with the women from work. I had a virgin Margarita and made sure to eat before I went out so I didn't order any of the fried foods that everyone else was ordering. It was nice to have some social time, yet still do it within my means.

emoticon eating within my calorie range was very do-able this week.

emoticon Exercise was on the low end this week. I did yoga last Monday, and about an hour of walking/trotting around the horse arena Friday.

So to lose 1/2 a pound with all of this, I think I did pretty good, and I feel satisfied about it.

    These all sound like great things to me! Way to go! Slow and steady wins the race :) You will have low exercise weeks, and high exercise weeks. As long as you don't quit, it'll all eventually even out anyway, right?
