TOPIC: What have you found that has worked to get your motivation back once you've lost it?

Becoming more involved in the SparkPeople community, whether it be joining a new team or challenge, helps me get back on track and motivated to stay on track.

    Isn't spark people a great place! I've felt so unmotivated sometimes, not wanting to eat right, or exercise, and after I've been on Spark for a while it's like I'm a different person! I eat well and exercise well.

    So far I haven't lost it for very long this time! When I do I love to look up motivational images on google. I browse them for about and update my sparkspage with new stuff and that generally gets me moving again quick smart! I also love to encourage others and to be encouraged by others! Welcome to HH team.

    I find when my motivation is gone I just force my self to move and once I am going I feel better and proud of myself. repeat :)

    THat is true for me as well. I love to get to know my team mates and there are always people who are so much like myself that I can relate to and other who are vastly different that give me a different point of view and excellent motivation on what might work as well :)

    Having an exercise buddy helped a lot, but then she stopped exercising! If I can just get myself started I will do the exercise, but sometimes the first step is the hardest.
