Today is a New Day....

So a lot of times i do great when i start my healthy lifestyle change. And then I get overwhelmed and stop. I really do want to be healthy. So yesterday I bought the new book that sparkpeople is putting out and you can download the first chapter. I can't wait for the book to come in May 7th cant come fast enough. I was really inspired to make this change. In 2 weeks i will be a whole new me. I am starting with one change at a time. This week I am focusing on drinking water. I am going to stop saying no this no that, I am going to limit my intake of the "bad" stuff. Today was water. I had to go to a birthday party which is hard to behave anyways. I told myself I had to drink at least 2 waters before I did anything else. I drank about 40 oz. (i say about I forgot to tighten my cover and spilled some), and I had a soda. I put about an oz in a cup and that is all I had. That is a big yeah for me. Soda is one of the things I need to cut out. I keep trying by saying no more. And that doesn't help. So now I am focusing on drink water. I am only going to say positive and stop saying negative.

So ask me how my water consumption is going? I am up to 3 bottles of water. I think that is about 60 oz. my bottle is 20 oz give or take. I do fell a little bloated and have to run to the ladies room a lot more then i normally do but hey, I feel better. Water Water Water, that is what I am focusing on this week.
