So today I started putting in my garden. We are building up the soil so that we can have a more productive garden. So I went to my favorite home improvement store and got 18 landscaping ties and put them in my cart. Then I got several 40-50 bags of humus, garden soil, and manure. 13 bags in all. After pulling and pushing two carts through the store and out into the parking lot, I loaded items into the car. Although it was humid and in the mid 70's I was not sweating that bad. I drove the few miles home and park in the driveway. Now the real "fun" started. After about 15 round trips from the car, through the backyard gate and across the backyard to the garden, I had unloaded the car. I was definitely feeling the burn and huffing and puffing. It was a good 30 minute workout, with both cardio (walking up and down a hill to and from the car) with weight lifting. However, I am not sure where I log this? Is their a category for garden building or unloading the car? Maybe I will find it under manure bag lifting, or railroad tie carry. Even if I don't find a category to log this activity, my body feels better after doing it!
