Weekly Challenge Uh...Uh....

This week is stretching. WOW I am guilty of not including stretching in my workout. My workout I must have a purpose or I am bored. So I walk at my DH favorite place Home Depot, we spend anywhere from 1- 2 hours there and then on to Sam's Club.

I can walk and walk because I have my attention on everyone. Projects projects.

But stretching I don't know. I will just do it!! My plan is to start in the AM and use the SP video.

At first I felt shocked and surprised and I settled in and took a look at the stretching videos, ok I going to do this.

I have decided to post a blog daily just to be accountable.

So with faith and adventure I start this path with joy and peace.

    I usually stretch before exercise, but not after. So, I am learning to do this emoticon

    Yep, it's amazing how much time you can spend walking in big stores. After the Y, I was going to go to both Walmart & Home Depot, but only managed to get in Walmart, because I spent 90 minutes there. The aisle signs in the food sections are completely useless. I spend 15 minutes just looking for dried fruit. I finally asked a woman and she told me they were in the baking aisle. Of course, there's no sign that says "Baking" either but I was able to figure that out pretty fast.

If Walmart (and Home Depot, for that matter) were smart they'd offer a free smart phone app for navigating their individual stores. It's costing them money, because customers avoid going because it's such a time sink.

But, it is good exercise.

    I am guilty of not stretching after exercising as well, so I am right there with you. I will look forward to your daily blogs on the subject, and I am sure they will help me stay on track. Good luck to both of us!

    Just make sure your muscles are nice and warm before you stretch, so you don't get injured.
