Wow! I have "fallen" off the wagon so many times, I can't believe it hasen't left me behind yet! This has been a BATTLE! I had almost given up again, when my husband decided that he wanted to do the South Beach diet. I had told myself that I would not spend any more money on any diet books or programs (why I came to Sparks!) but my husband came home with the book, so a agreed to read it, and give it a try. I have done Atkins before, so was kind of familier with the low carb thing, funny, how you can really get tired of meat! The South Beach diet is less strict, but the first 2 weeks, your trying to cut out sugar and processed flour, really, all the stuff we should limit anyway. It's going pretty well, I am into my second week to day. I lost about 5#'s the first week, even though I slipped up some. Today I had a really bad craving for sweets, so I poped a few chocolate candies, that seem to help. Hope this goes well!
