Worst. Cold. Ever.

Let me apologize to my Awesome A team for my absence this past week. This cold really threw me for a loop. I had just enough energy to make a big pot of chicken soup and make sure my son was taking medicine and we hibernated most of the week. I managed 30 minutes on the elliptical Wednesday, I think, and stayed under a blanket the rest of the week, bonding with Netflix. I still have a slight cough, and food doesn't taste all that great yet (which has made portion control much easier...). I haven't had one this nasty in a long time (pregnancy, maybe? or that one seemed terrible because I couldn't really take anything for it...), so fingers crossed this will be the last one of the season.

Anyway, I'm back now and hoping to be able to get some weight lifting done this week, since I feel like I've turned into mush...

    this year has just been awful! i'm on my 3rd cold of the season. finally took a 40 min walk today, exercising for the first time in about 3 weeks!!

    Glad you are feeling better we are in Summer here and I have had this flu 3 times it is one of the worst I have had and I had the flu injection.
