I have to get on top of things. You see my mother is in hospice , i went to visit her last week. I am trying to keep it together. It is hard when you have never experienced the death of a parent. You know thing like this is suppose to happen. I guess what i am trying to say. i have to except this. My mind is every where. I know i need to take care of myself so that i can help others. Just not coming together at this time. keep me in pray emoticon

You are in my thoughts and, with your permission, in my prayers. I lost my mother too, and I promise, after time the pain gets less and you will find you will smile instead of crying when you think of her. If possible, use this time to say goodbye by telling her how much she means to you.

I will definitely keep you in prayer. In June it will be, unbelievable, 18 years ago that I lost my mom. Grief is a strange thing. For me it was really difficult for the first two years, and after that it seemed to change to, as I say, so I incorporate her death into my life. I do that by making memories real, by having her things around me, and by keeping pictures on the wall of her that make me smile.

Bless you, and her, and I understand your journey.

I will light a candle for you and your mom when I go to church tomorrow.
