I wish we could "like" comments that other people leave on blogs, I feel kind of rude that they say something nice and I don't have a response. SO-for anyone that has left kind words or that does in the future- THANK YOU! I DO appreciate it!
Anyways, I blog every day, so I don't have a whole lot of exciting things to say.
Today is Saturday, and my husband has to work until 4. I'm going to be cleaning all day. My stepson didn't come visit this weekend because the oldest left school early yesterday with a sore throat. As his teacher just told me that strep has been circulating, I just didn't want to take any chances. Today, Bugga says he feels better, so Gus Gus may very well come over tonight. I just want to be over this illness season.
Yesterday we got a nice walk, it was a little chilly yet, but the sun was shining, and we needed to get the stink off of us. I'm hoping to get my bike and trailer from my mom's so we can go for bike rides, there are so many wonderful trails in the area that are safe for riding.
I also signed us up for some volunteer work at our county parks. They need help doing garlic mustard pulls, an invasive weed that is causing trouble with our ecosystems, and spring cleaning to get the parks ready for busy season. I also requested to volunteer at our local botanical gardens, which I think would be great, since I absolutely LOVE that place! Anyway, it would be good for our family to get out into the community and meet people, we have been so busy lately we haven't done much socializing, and we could really use some friends with common interests in the area.
Currently, I'm trying to plan a 1st birthday for the baby, which is the 28th, and also I do an egg hunt every year, and I have to work out those details. I'm just concerned that money is going to be a HUGE issue since we are paying a couple grand to fix 2 vehicles. I think I will feel eternal guilt if I don't throw a big party for the baby, since the older 2 got one, maybe I'll just need to postpone it a couple of weeks.
