Today is our 2nd weigh in for the 5% challenge. Last week's weigh in found me up a little, but I had used soy sauce the night before and I attributed the slight gain to that. The following day it was down a pound; I was happy with that for the week.
I increased my workouts for week 2; it felt good to be working out again!

Had it not been for an e-mail received last night from IMIN2GENES saying "Don't get discouraged, don't get sidetracked by the number on the scale. This is only week 2, this is a journey, not a quick fix....", I might have done just that!
I know the games my scale plays with my mind; I know my body is just not behaving the way it should be. I also know that I am not eating clean and will need to spend Week 3 fine-tuning my diet. I know that I didn't eat enough to gain 2+ pounds this week....but I also know I didn't fuel my body the way it deserves.
I also know that I need to find a way to improve my
. My body cannot survive on 4 hours of restless sleep.
