No reason not to

Saturday, March 09, 2013

Living under incredible stress, home and work issues. Work leaves no time for exercise, only for eating way too much or not eating at all. And to think I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 1996 and ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2010. If I can do that, I certainly can do this.I have really let myself go without a goal to work for. I've always needed a have a goal, not just to lose weight, but something I want to accomplish. I need to accept that even without a specific goal to accomplish, being fit and in shape is a goal in itself.

If you need a specific goal - define what it means to you to be fit and in shape. Someone once told me that they were FIT (they buy BIG BAGGY CLOTHES) and in SHAPE (A BIG ROUND CIRCLE is a SHAPE). Define it and set some fabulous challenge for yourself to climb a mountain, do a marathon, or whatever you like, but you already HAVE a goal - just clarify it for yourself. Thanks for sharing this I really appreciated it.
