Planning Ahead for a Day Trip

This weekend ends Spring Break for us. Today we plan to do one final day trip before settling back into our normal routine. It is so easy for me to "slide" on healthy habits when traveling. This time I'm planning ahead. These are my goals:

Get 60 minutes cardio and 10 minutes of stretching in BEFORE the trip.

Fill water bottle and take gallon jug of water for refills.

Cut up raw veggies and fruit to snack on in place of gas station junk.

Pack nutritious lunch.

Enjoy a healthy supper out, being mindful of portion control.

    VERY GOOD PLANNING ! When i eat out i like cut my potato in 1/2 and eat 1/2 of my meat all my veggies and just the crust bottom off of a biscuit and fresh fruit for dessert or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if i have to have desert get a to go box and add a veggie to my leftovers eating the top of the roll left and giving my dogs the middle . I would rather go for a meal than sandwich but if i have sandwich i cut it in 1/2 take have home and eat a bowl of soup or side of veggie ! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANK YOU FOR BEING ON THE TEAM GOD ANSWERS PRAYER !

    I too need to think outside the box when it comes to trips and other outings! It easy to make being away from home and out of your routine become an excuse!
