This week was busy again.
I haven't sparked at all. Gave up on tracking water, fitness minutes and my other goals. I haven't even recorded my weight.
What I did was morning exercise, then work 10+ hours, spend a little time with my family (on 3 days by phone as I was out of town) and go to bed.
But it was not a bad week.

I made very good progress on my business trip, and ran about 30 minutes around the lake every morning. I was feeling tired and slow, but to my surprise my pace was 9:35 in the first morning, and 9:31 and 9:34 in the next two.
My 5K PB was 9:15 last October, so this is quite good : )

Eating went well. Getting off work after 9 pm when all the shops are closed with the only available food option healthy packed dinner definitely helps to avoid evening overeating.
I also got back to my goal weight.

Monday is my 45th birthday.
When I was young, I thought I would be hopelessly old and probably fat too at the age of 45.
I'm not : ))
I feel better than ever, age means nothing to me.
And I look better than anytime in the past 20 years, at least my husband tells me so.

I'm too tired to cook or go out, all I wish is staying at home and spending some quiet time with my kids and husband.
And my birthday is on Monday when I have to give a very important training, and will be out of town all day.
So we will celebrate on Sunday, ordering some thai food (I'll add a lot of steamed vegetables) and my daughter will bake a cake.

I planned not to work at all during the weekend, but I feel I'm not so well prepared for the Monday training as I normally do, and have some ideas to improve my presentation and training material... So I will have to. But I'm enjoying it, and do my best to get enough rest.
I slept well in most nights and I'm not stressed out, so I guess I'll be OK.

    emoticon emoticon emoticon ...for the terrific, commendable job you have done under SO much stress - all those hours on the road, very long work days, and having to engage in advance preparation for the training you do. You sound so steady and capable throughout all this, Kriszta - I am so impressed! By the way, happy birthday in advance! No, my dear, you do not look your age...and yes, 45 is young - it's the prime of life!     45 is not old! In fact, in 10 short years you'll be 55 and 45 will look young! Or so it seems, from my 57 year old perspective. emoticon
