Mental Vacation

Today we were blessed with sunshine and temps in the high 50's WOOOO HOOO!

I walked the dogs 3 times (that's 3/4 mile total)
Did 10 minutes of Wii Fit--I had 100% perfect balance for the 1st time ever!
I also walked at the track for 2 miles-my head is still stuffed up so it was not very fast, but it was in the sunshine!

I looked at heart rate monitors but couldn't lay out the cash ...I'm still thinking it over.

Walking was great, it was super quiet with pretty much my footsteps and the birds for music. I enjoyed watching the squirrels play-they are pretty funny! Each time I set out for my walk I have a mental to do list of things I'm going to mull over while I walk--I suppose I plan to resolve all problems during this time. Ha! I usually end up with my mind wandering-but that's why it's a mental vacation! Very relaxing.

    Thanks BRITTANSFSAP--I've talked about walking as a *vacation* in previous blogs. I had a phycologist tell me that there is proof the mind can process problems better during physical activity! Let me know how your walking goes! I'm friending you, hope you'll do the same.
