Kicked Out of ICU!

Saturday, March 09, 2013

All of Phil's tests show no major bleeding issues, so evidentially his spleen is just eating his blood. So, today they kicked us out of intensive care, and both of us are looking forward to a better night's sleep. The doctor is trying some new meds to treat various symptoms, and we'll look into the liver transplant issue again, although Phil's not an excellent candidate. Overall, a much better day!

I'm surely praying for Phil's recovery and whatever it takes to get him back on his feet. Please be sure to guard your health as well. I can't do much for you, physically, right now as we're leaving for FL on Tue but, if you need to talk at anytime give me a buzz on my cell2086106126. We'll be back on 3/27. I'll try to check up on you via kindle in the meantime but, being technologically challenged, I'll just promise to do my best. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you always.
    Love ya,

I'm glad you are out of intensive care. I don't think sleeping in the hospital is very relaxing what with nurses administering care around the clock. HOpe his situation stabilizes enough that you can go home and convalesce there.
