Butt massages tickle...

Friday, March 08, 2013

Goals are good. Lack of goals is bad. I really need to remember this. I never set concrete goals for myself, ever. Even when the trainer asked me what my goals are, I just went "Uhm... Lose weight and be healthy". I mean, if I really think about it, I guess I do have my goals. I know what my goal weight is, meaning I know what my goal weight loss is. I know that I want to run an 5k. I know that I want to build muscle. I need to focus on smaller goals though instead of the huge picture, because its discouraging. I have made a few mini goals in the past few days. I'm trying to include protein with every meal, eat at least one small salad a day, more fruit and veggies, use one lemon a day in my water... Mostly nutrition goals. I also am going to try to stop using lunch meat, it has sooooo much sodium in it.. So the past few days I've been using Morning Star patties to make my lunch time sandwich. Bit more expensive, and more calories... But it's also a ton less sodium, and more protein. I think about food too much, lol.

Went to the gym again today. Jogged for SIX minutes straight today :) was very happy with myself. I'm paying for it though, I'm fairly sore. I also did the Arc trainer for the first time. It's different, and takes a bit of getting used to (at least for me). But all in all, I enjoyed it. Challenging and made me break a sweat. Definitely want to do it again!

Aaaaaaand the hyrdomassage. After I got done working out today, I figured I might as well try one of the many amenities that my membership comes with. I chose the hydromassage table, ohhhhh my goodness. You pick the pressure and speed that you want, and then start it. It hurt a little bit at first on my back, but by the end of the 5 minutes, it was feeling good. So I guess it was doing its job. I've decided that if I have time, I'm going to try and do it after every workout. A little instant reward for me. I was soooo relaxed when I got off that table, and I've felt very relaxed since then. I did have a hard time controlling my giggling though... I don't know if anyone has ever had a hydromassage, but the water massages your buttcheeks and kinda goes up the line of your buttcrack. Call me immature if you want, but it tickled, and the whole situation just struck me as amusing.

I'm sore, but I'm proud of myself. I hope everyone is doing good.

I'm totally a fan of you having that hydro massage for after your workouts..not only will it be relaxing and apparently amusing but it will help relax your muscles so that you aren't quite as sore! :) Win Win in my book!

I can just picture you lying there and trying not to giggle out loud!! emoticon Too funny!!!

My goals are as broad as my butt these days! Maybe that is why my scale is moving the wrong way??? I'll add making them more specific to my TO-DO list for TODAY!!!
