In Christ alone my hope is found,

this Cornerstone, this solid Ground,

“… Unto Him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in His own blood.”

PRAYER: Jesus we thank You that in You alone do we stand, and find our hope and light and strength and song each day. In Your love, our strivings cease and fears are gone. You cleanse us from all unrighteousness through Your shed blood, and give us Your peace that passes understanding. Nothing can take us from out of Your care or remove us from life with You. For us to live is Christ, and to die is gain. One day we shall stand before the throne of God, the One true God Who always was and always will be, Who formed the universe from nothingness. It is difficult for us to comprehend One Who is eternal, and yet by faith we await the day when we too shall inherit eternal life, because of what Jesus did for us. While we live on earth Lord, enable us to serve You first and best, as You work in and through us, to Your honor and glory. This is our deepest need and prayer, to live close to You, equally yoked with Christ, in Whose name we pray, amen.
