The day started off with me still being emotional over something that happened Thursday night. Just hung on like a gloomy cloud. I headed out and got my dad for his labwork and it was so busy when we got there that I knew my hour of "home alone" time was not going to be happening. I only got about 20 minutes. That did give me time to make a couple of phone calls done and a good start on the sensory equipment request I needed to submit for Isaac. Once the kids got home (they were with their dad) we got their schoolwork accomplished. We met Tim for lunch and then he took Isaac to his therapy (they called and asked if Isaac could come earlier) and Maegann and I got a couple errands done. That gave me the rest of the day home! I did start taking my Holy Basil when I got home (Why didn't I think of that sooner?!), prayed and then the gloomy cloud started lifting. I then did some mending, made pizza for dinner and helped Maegann with her report on Emeralds for her history class on Monday.
Tomorrow: Volunteer at Bountiful Baskets, go grocery shopping, buy some new jeans for myself and complete my Fitness Test for the Biggest Loser Challenge. Maegann is having a co-op friend over in the afternoon so one less kiddo requiring attention. I need to get things ready for co-op but that shouldn't take long. Should be a quieter weekend!
5% Challenge - Team Daisy
Today's question is the final one for week 2 of this challenge and it is "Anything else you would like to share with your team?" I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone for the notes and goodies all week. Incredibly encouraging and it was nice meeting some of the team as I am new to this team.
Weighing & Measuring Challenge
Another day without the need to do much because I ate out for breakfast and lunch. Dinner was homemade pizza and I already have the portion figured out on that meal.
....Think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. (Romans 12:3)
Trust in Him. Are you using the faith God has given you? Release your faith by praying, saying, and doing, while you put your trust in Him.
Goodness, but I needed this devotion today! I don't know why I don't fall on my knees when the hurt begins instead of waiting so long. I did finally put my trust back in Him and things did get better.
