5% Challenge Daily Exercise Habit Just Jumping Jacks!

My week started out well. I did the Jillian Michaels Beginner Video. Wow, it's supposed to be for beginners, but it challenged me! Circuit 1 starts out with 3 circuits of 30 Jumping Jacks, 10 squats, and 10 Push-ups. So total of 90 Jumping Jacks, 30 squats and 30 Push-ups. OK I remember in grade school how easy Jumping Jacks seemed. but not anymore. By the end of that circuit, I was tired! I will never take Jumping Jacks for granted again!
My strength training was hindered because I had a business trip to Chicago (Yes got to be in the foot of snow that fell while I was there). I did get in some walking as well as plenty of exercise cleaning the snow off my car!
Improvement plan: Back in the office, Need to move at least every few hours, Also try to do Jillian Michaels at least 3 times per week.

    Good for you for doing jumping jacks. Given my knees, I wouldn't even have attempted it.

    Love Gaylep57's comment - I just can't do real jumping jacks anymore. I just do half jumping jacks. You have a good plan in mind!

    You are right, jumping jacks are not near as easy as they used to be when we were 4 feet tall, 80 pounds and had no chest bouncing up and down. emoticon
