Week 2-Day #7 Anything else to add? Thank-you Sparkers.

Friday, March 08, 2013

It's been a surreal week ending with a difficult emotional, funeral service for my friend's daughter today. I was watching her 5 year old twin boys playing and enjoying treats today. They have been surrounded by so many loving people this week I don't think reality has kicked in. Their mommy is gone forever. The weeks and months ahead will likely be difficult.
Many of you have expressed sympathy and made loving, supportive comments. Thank-you for that.

I have not been logging but have been reasonable with my food intake. I still logged exercise minutes each morning. Not sure what the scale will show tomorrow. Certainly not the 5 lb loss as in last weight but hoping for at least the same. Re-focussing now and moving on to challenge week #3 .

My condolences. It is so hard to take care of yourself when you're grieving, but you hae a handle on it. HUGS

That is just too sad. I am so sorry for your loss. You sound like a good friend, and I know you will be there for your friend and her daughter's family. You are so right about the hardest days being ahead of them. It will take awhile, of course, but your continued support will be invaluable.
