I apologize for not calculating the calories. I believe it's easier for you to do it based on the amount of ingredients you put in it!
Most important! The order of "loading the blender!"
Put liquids in first!
Then soft ingredients that blend easily!
Sticky stuff like peanut butter, honey, etc follows.
Then if you're using anything frozen, add it last.
All my Smoothies start with 1% milk (1 cup) and vanilla yogurt (1 6oz container). All the measurements I used made 3 6-7 ounce servings
A Fruit Explosion Smoothie with Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries.
7 large strawberries, 2 med bananas, 3/4 cup blueberries, 2 Tbsp Honey
The "enhanced" Chocolate Elvis Smoothie!
2 bananas, 1/4 cup fat free chocolate syrup, 2 tbsp dark chocolate bits, and 3 Tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp Honey..."Thank you! Thank you very much!"
An Orange Creamsicle!
6 oz concentrated orange juice, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract enhancing the Vanilla Yogurt, and tbsp of honey!
Blend for an initial 30 seconds (be a good chef for Gorden Ramsey and taste!). That's when you can add a bit more of any ingredient to enhance the flavor you want to stand out. I like "thickerer!" If you don't, add milk or yogurt. I don't like adding ice cubes or water.
Have fun with this and play with the ingredients. The sky's the limit. I like fruit. I've done green smoothies, vanilla chai, etc. But I prefer fruit.
