I am finding it true that when one is tired one is more likely to desire things high in carbohydrates. I went to bed around 10:30 last night but was wide awake for some time. I don't know exactly how much because if I look at the clock I tend to over think the whole thing.
Anyway, for some unknown reason I was awake at 4:10 am...yes, I did look at the clock this time. I waited to see if I would fall back asleep but to no avail and was raring to go at 5am. This is very unlike me! Well, I got some laundry going did a little picking up, got on Sparkpeople and did some Zumba. Now I am manning phones at the office thinking I would most likely be exhausted at this time. I'm not but I am looking forward to being a slug later. I did just grab a few Doritos in the back of the office...not in my plan. Yes, they are really tasting good especially when one is a bit draggy.
Research says...you will want to eat all the wrong things if you do not get enough sleep. Or, if you stay awake late and get those munchies because you are tired. I am really hoping that my "habit" tonight will be to get a good night's sleep. It really is a gift...just ask anyone who has trouble NOT getting their rest.
