Smoking

Friday, March 08, 2013

Yes, I am a smoker. Two ears ago, I smoke 2 packs a day. One year ago I was smoking one pack a day. Today I am smoking a half of a pack a day. And sometimes I only smoke twice a day. Doing it slowly is helping me alot. My birtday present on April 5th will be the last cigarette forever!!!

Wonderful, I know how hard it is but the rewards will outweigh the discipline required.

What a birthday present--longer life emoticon

That's so great! I quit smoking last October. I actually went in for major surgery and was in the hospital for 4 days and was in no shape to go outside to smoke after I got home so I was able to quit pretty easily! I guess it's pretty easy when you're forced to not smoke and deaden the withdrawals with morphine...lol So far no slips. Of course I gained 20 lbs because I was not able to really move around and I was eating to make up for not smoking so it made this weight loss journey even harder. Good luck! I know you can do it!!
