Product Review: Skechers Gowalk shoes

Friday, March 08, 2013

I recently bought a pair of Skechers Gowalk shoes from, they were on sale for a good price.

The ones I bought are called "Toasty"; they are light brown suede with a fleecy lining. They are a slip on style. They have a sturdy, yet flexible sole that is not too heavy, and offers great support; something that is important to me in a shoe, as I suffer from sciatica. If my feet hurt, that makes my hip and knee hurt more on my "bad" side. They are a cute and casual style. Wearing them, I have all the support of an athletic shoe, but they feel as comfortable as my favorite pair of slippers, and the soft fleece lining is great for our cold Michigan winters.

I also have narrow feet, and often, non-lace up shoes feel like my feet are sliding around inside them, but these are a perfect fit for me. I often have bone pain that is a result of bone mets from breast cancer; on the days I am really hurting, I like shoes that are easy to slip on and off my feet that I do not have to bend over to tie and untie, these are easy to slide on and off.

You can also get these shoes without the fleecy lining; they come in a lot of different colors and patterns, and a few different styles. You can probably find a pair to match any casual type outfit; these are the perfect shoes for the days you are on your feet a lot and want something cute, but comfortable.
