Kicking it!!

I did some TAEBO last night. I wasn't sure if I was going to be up for it, since it is pretty intense and it was getting pretty late for the evening. But, my husband mentioned that he hadn't worked out for the day and I saw an opportunity. I said, why don't we do TAEBO then? He was thinking about it. I thought that it would be a good way for me to show off how good I have been able to get at it. He didn't seem motivated to see me beat him at it. So, I offered motivation. I agreed to rub is feet for every minute he lasted doing TAEBO. He gladly accepted the challenge.

I grabbed my stop watch and set everything up for us to get started. I was thinking that he would crap out at about the 20 minute mark, he was hoping that he would make it to the 30 minute mark. I pushed the start button and we got going.

I could tell after just five minutes that he was having a hard time keeping up, but he kept going and did his best. After a little bit longer, with sweat dripping from his forehead, he asked, how long has it been now? I said 15 minutes. Huffing and puffing, he pushed himself to continue. He started to complain that his joints were hurting and he was feeling overwhelmed. He lasted 28 minutes.

And after I finished the rest of the hour long TAEBO work out, I gave him a 28 minute foot rub as promised. If only I got one too....

    I always enjoy working out with my hubby too. He is much faster than me biking and running. But when we hike, kayak, or walk our pups we stay on the same pace:)

    Way to go! It is always great to get our spouse involved in anything we do so they can see not only what we go through but also to better things for them.

I love Taebo! It is a kick butt workout!
