Doing better

I've been skipping out on the track lately and just hitting the gym. I'm pushing myself a lot more on the treadmill. My short term goal is to finish 3 miles in 60 minutes. So the last few days ive been setting the treadmill for 50 mins to see how far I can get. Yesterday I walked/jogged 2.13 miles in 50 minutes. Today I jogged a bit more and was able to go 2.25 miles. I have a lot more room to improve. The first 5 minutes something caught my eye on tv and didnt pay attention. I didnt run or walk at a fast pace. So next time im going to use that first 5 minutes to better my time.

I have a question. I hit the scale at the gym today and it said I weighted 322. I was like hell yea! I started to think about it and I wanted to double check it. I got on the scale again and said I was 327. The scale isnt digital. Its one of the hospital scales with the sliding weights on the bar. How can it be different in weight?

    Different scales. Those scales with the sliding weights are really the most accurate I think. emoticon

    Did you drink water? It may seem stupid but even a sip of water can add weight to the scale.

    I would guess its the position of your feet.
