Eating healthy doesn't have to be boring or unsatisfying. You just have to be creative. Take pizza for example. Don't go out and try to eat a small slice of plain boring cheese pizza. Stay home, buy some Flatouts, an assortment of fresh veggies and some low fat cheese. You can have a delicious homemade pizza for under 300 calories. If you want meat, use ground turkey and season it up. If you are in the mood for a burger, try ground turkey mixed with some fresh herbs, onions and cilantro. Add a little brown mustard and fresh veggies. Another idea is to eat rice burgers or make your own black bean burgers. They are delicious when seasoned right. You don't have to deprive yourself to eat healthy. There are so many great recipes on Spark and there are great ideas at your local grocery store. The point is, don't give up too easily and say that it is too hard or boring. Because it doesn't have to be. Be your own creative chef. It has made such a difference in my journey.
