the value of me and my worth

Friday, March 08, 2013

In a challenge I joined this was the question for our blogs.

what you measure your value as a person and what defines your worth?

My value as a person varies for me from day to day depend on my self esteem. I take things to heart and this causes lots of negative thoughts at times and I over think. As I continue to lose weight this has slowly began to change and my value as a person personally changes for the better as a whole. I also have my amazing husband who came into my life over a year ago and has helped me realized that I am more valuable than I thought.

For me my worth is indescribable...I know I am a worthy person with many qualities. I am unique and one of a kind. I know that know one else meets my own worth. On wednesday night my husband and I had marriage class for our second marriage and well we had to tell each other what we loved most or appreciated about each other and to be honest it was hard to take. I knew he felt these things but to hear them from him that way was so special and huge. I dont think I have had anyone say such big things too me.

Anyways value and worth of yourself is more than meets the eye those reading this blog I dare you to write a blog answering the same question it was not easy.

I'm so glad that God sent you a wonderful man to love you and show you the love you deserve. It gave me goosebumps reading this because that is so precious and awesome.
Loving yourself is the most precious gift you can ever give ANYONE. because once you love yourself your not only more kind to you but to others and you will be loved and treated more than you were when you didnt have that self love.
its amazing.
thank you for sharing and I hope that your husband continues to flatter you and tell you the words that you deserve to know and hear.

Wow,,, that was really beautiful! There are two things that really stand out to me:

1. "I am unique and one of a kind" Yes, you are ..... and I think that is something that I have to remember as well..... we sometimes forget that we are all unique and one of a kind.

2. The sweet things that your husband said to you in your marriage class.. all the things that he that he "loved most or appreciated" about you. Now how lovely is that? How special and sweet! You are so fortunate to have a man in your life that appreciates and loves you.

Loved your blog! emoticon
