Friday's Goal: Stay on Track!

Friday, March 08, 2013

That's my plan for today!

My breakfast is always a green smoothie. Love my Nutribullet and find the smoothies keep me full until lunch.

Have an all-day hike planned, 7-12 miles, depending. We've done 7 on this mountain before but we MAY do an extra loop if we think we can. We MUST ramp up our miles and endurance over the next two months. The weather is going to be beautiful. The last time we did this hike the wind was gusting at 30 miles an hour so we only did 4 miles on the most protected loop -- I was afraid we'd get blown off the mountain! I'll have TC take the camera so we can get some pictures. We'll take lunch with us; I've got a small salad and a hummus/lettuce/cucumber wrap and an orange.

I am enjoying SparkCoach more than I thought I would! I usually do part of it in the morning (to set my intentions for the day) and part of it in the evening (to record how I'm doing). This is a summary of my self-assessment for the past two weeks:

I'm motivated to stay on track to get the NUTRITION number up!

I'm trying (and failing) not to weigh myself every day, but I am doing better NOT getting all het up about it. I've "gained" a pound since yesterday even though I was totally on track and didn't eat one bite after dinner. But I did a very hard PowerPump class and my muscles could be filled with fluid. So I'm just not even thinking about it. To quote ITSMATT, "The scale goes up, the scale goes down, but mostly it goes down."

So that's the plan for today. Hope you have made YOUR plans to stay ON TRACK! What are they?

Here's some motivation for ya, Sparkland!

You are well on your way to that 5% but TC is right there too. Your plans sound like great fun.

I might treat myself to sparkcoach one of these days- I enjoyed the free trial a lot.
I do not weigh daily but I still do get het up about things-
I was flying high the other day when, for no apparent reason, I was down 3 lbs -
but it came back a few days later, also for no apparent reason.

I know you and you will do what you set out to do.
That hummus/lettuce/cucumber wrap sounds somewhat familiar. :)
Sorry I haven't been commenting lately, it wasn't by choice ...somehow I was unsubscribed from your blogs. :( I thought it was odd that you hadn't blogged lately... but indeed you had.

Keep on Sparking!!!

Have a wonderful hike. Jealous, I'll be stuck at work today for 10+ hours, but thankfully the weekend is close. Enjoy your day.
